This triune God has enjoyed perfect unity and harmony, from before times eternal in his own fellowship. He needs nothing. This triune perfect existence is his necessary act. But like an overflowing fountain he has joyfully given of himself in creation, providence, redemption, and one day in the consummation of his creation, all for the eternal display, enjoyment and praise of his own glory.
