Ok, I understand why so many here are annoyed of people hyping over AI. I was too. But whining about it is almost as absurd as hyping.
As if AI wasn't around for a while now. YouTube uses it from 2006, half of the internet is built with some machine learning in the code. Nothing changed now. Neither for the good nor for the bad. We got a couple of shiny new toys and that's all.
Yes, I realize there are some questions to be raised, some regulations to be put in place. But rather then that programmers haven't lose their jobs, artists haven't lose their jobs. Media of course jumped on the opportunity to throw some gRouNd bReAkiNg titles at us.
Shiny new toys could be a bit of fun but I can't take with a straight face claims that the new AI tools has made our world much better or much worse.
Because AI is used for decades. But we weren't hyping or whining for decades, were we?
