Like people are up in arms about government agencies buying access to consumer data that corporations have add access to for decades while continuing to ignore that the source of the issue is the rampant data collection to begin with.
There are absolutely zero consumer rights and it's a constant game to try to circumvent unsolicited data collection and at times completely unavoidable due to the actions of others.
