I am going to start with very small batches (3.5l) and do infusion and, possibly, decoction mashing. I'm going to fashion a very old style Danish lauter tun out of modern materials (plastic and a store-bought wooden dowel) and use foliage from native coniferous trees for a filter. I with definitely post photos when I dive into this.
Once I get comfortable with this, I will start getting/making larger equipment and making larger batches.
