I'm fortunate my time in #Austin coincided with its "Music Capitol of the World" era. A big part of that was the sounds that Jody Denberg put onto the old KGSR radio.
He retires from Austin airwaves today. Much gratitude for what he did for the city and my music listening.
Every year KGSR would put out a compilation CD with favorite live performances they broadcast. I've got seven of those old Broadcasts CDs ripped, and I think I'll listen to some of that today.
