I feel like everyone has forgotten about the Second World War. Maybe the memories are dying just as the last D-Day fighters and holocaust survivors are passing. Today’s American administration has no loyalty to Europe, supports far right parties and sees no need to curb Russian expansionism. I very much doubt Putin will stop at Ukraine and there won’t be anyone coming to help this time. I’m anti war, but I think Zelenskyy is right, we need greater European military cooperation. The whole thing depresses the hell out of me.
