I find myself torn on the topic of God lately. I grew up Roman Catholic... The spawn of a mother who came from a family of tragedy caused by war, and believing in the need for self-flagellation, vying for acceptance from some being in the sky. It never brought me any joy... That fraternal belief. I never understood, but continued with the motions. I'm still waiting for the payoff. I believe, but God has taken so much. He's preparing to take more. When does it stop? What is the prize?
