Q. when Wes Streeting tells NHS leaders to focus on patient safety, presumably knowing that the crisis that has so damaged the NHS is the main threat to patient safety not the unwillingness of the NHS to 'priotise' it.... is he setting NHS leaders up for a fall?

When, as seems inevitable, tales of patient safety being compromised surface during the next month or so, will Streeting use this as an excuse to push his own leadership team into place?

Or am I just being too cynical?
