This is very debatable and the market does not like cardano. Certainly solana has more advanced apps with better devs because there is simply more money there and the tech difference isn't all that. In fact many people claim newer chains are even faster, more innovative etc.
It's all very challenging because it isn't about tech. It is about which coin the market prefers.
By Charles sucking up to btc he's basically conceding he lost the war. And it doesn't mean more users or better tech. 100% marketing.
Notice how he says "better than eth and sol". Because they do the same with btc.
