Instead of smarming around Brussels mumbling about 'closer ties' "reset of relations' & 'realignment', in other words wanting stuff that the UK has zero entitlement to ask for, let alone expect, & for which European leaders know UK Labour has no mandate, what Britain needs, wants & the negotiating lever to get it are all staring #Starmer & #Lammy in the face. First make the case, then get the mandate - call a referendum on #RejoinEU , then make the application, then propose a military alliance.
