Why am I telling you this? Who are you? Mastodon says 16,000 people are seeing this post, or whatever number of those are logged on. How did that happen? Did I *mean* for that to happen? I remember once posting to the Internet and thinking all that mattered was my words, that no one was thinking about a person behind them. Now I the person feel hypervisible, exposed. I feel less safe or the world feels less safe. I know someone who deletes every word she writes after three months. I don't know.
