Can anyone help me identify this (no doubt antique) piece of tech?
USB-A male to a black box, about 1.5" square by half an inch thick. Heavier than you'd expect for something that size. Magnetic. No label of any kind.
When plugged into a Mac, it reads in System Information as follows (see image attachment with description).
I couldn't find anything close by googling the manufacturer and/or USB Product ID.
