Last night around six we were walking down to Centro to get a SIM card and stop at the cobblers, when who should we meet coming up the hill but the only two extraneros we know, both of whom we met here (separately) last March. Trailing behind them were four more we hadn’t met.

And that’s how we ended up spending an hour on a rooftop terrace, followed by a dinner out, with six lovely gay men (mostly) my age. Got home around 11. Never did get the SIM card.

I love this town.
