If left to my own devices, I dream of sitting in front of a machine all day and building easy-to-use self-hosted tools that anyone can use. My current funding campaign is about better fedi tools, but it's just the beginning of projects I want to build.

I have the will to build it but lack the resources to give me the time and space to focus.

But as centralized services crumble under the weight of their own hubris, I can see a new web where we have entire ecosystems that we can control and communicate with each other effortlessly. Systems that scale and adapt to our needs, and not some face board that doesn't give a shit about people.

I can clearly see this future. And I want to build it with every waking moment I have because I want everyone to see it too.
