Their is no such a thing as "not enough money" as long as it's divisible enough.
The security argument is debatable and suppose that it will never be used which is a shame, but the quantity argument is irrelevant.
Now, let's say security is not an issue anymore because Monero is used and fees are ok.
What would be the interest for anyone to hold something that is diluted (even a little) vs holding a forked coin that do the exact same thing but is not diluted ?
It seems to me that either Monero is worthless either tail emissions is useless
