Apple would give him a discount to pass on to us so we paid less than the Education Price. Amazon and some of the big appliance retailers have sale prices that never happen here, and they don't ship to NZ.
That's why I was wondering whether you'd found a way to get a machine from a non-NZ pricing regime. Alas not.
