Last month's Genre Grapevine by Jason Stanford had a bit about writing and breaking in/continuing to write until you're "old" which appeals to me, in my upper 40s, only recently (2019) getting back to writing after a 15 year break when I was young to do things like get a PhD in physical chemistry and raise 2 children to adulthood.
