LLMs (or AI) were never about making the world better. It was about keeping power with a select few, cutting traffic from the independent web sites and artist or book writers. Only 4 or 5 apps will control the whole internet with tech bros. The rich are going to be richer and more powerful, while fools like us will be searching for pennies. Not to mention they are heating up Mother Earth using an enormous amount of energy to run those GPUs and IDCs.
