Beckett would be a dog. But very specifically one like my dog.
Friendly, fun, smart, loyal.
But with trauma from his past that comes out at unexpected times, causing him to react with fear at things that may make people think he's a coward or broken.
But with love and compassion, he can learn that those things that once hurt him can be safe. He just needs to trust the hand that wields the stick.
