The assisted dying bill has been published....
However, one thing immediately strikes me is that if it is limited to people with only six months to live, the time taken to navigate the safeguards may take up a significant portion of their remaining life.
While I see the need for the safeguards, condemning those who wish to end their lives to a purgatory of bureaucratic process might be regarded as a little cruel (but necessary)?
