I'll also add I don't begrudge anyone throwing a tip jar at the counter and accepting tips if people feel like it, and if I have a few singles in my pocket they usually go in such a jar, but this feels weird and predatory to me.
Maybe I'm just old and out of touch. I guess that's what I'm asking. Anyone who works in a pizza shop, especially in California, is especially encouraged to offer their opinion.
