He couldn’t really walk, but somehow he got out of the apartment, into a taxi, and to the Israeli consulate to ask them 1. For a retrospective show of his work and 2. To get him away from me, who was, in his mind, somehow keeping him captive.
He was on hospice, but one day he didn’t eat anything and the next day didn’t wake up. It was pretty simple.
