The problem isn’t that Republicans don’t see what Trump is. The problem is that they do see, and too many agree with him, while the rest of the country can’t admit to itself that tens of millions of people here actually want their leaders to seize power through violence.
What do we do with this abundance of violent extremists? They aren’t going away if Trump goes to prison.
