one thing i have no patience for is people telling learners that they should never use LLMs when learning to code. that's fucking wrong. you should **definitely** use LLMs when you are learning to code because 1) they are very good at basic stuff and much faster than poking through StackOverflow, and 2) like it or not, LLM coding assistants are going to be part of IDEs going forward, and you **need** to learn when and when not to use them.
