John Altringham on Nostr: A colleague has just found a Natterer's bat in a hibernation site in the Yorkshire ...
A colleague has just found a Natterer's bat in a hibernation site in the Yorkshire Dales. From its ring number I know we ringed it at the same site, as an adult, as part of one of our research projects back in the autumn of 2003. This tiny 8-10g mammal is at least 21 years old.
