I grew wiser. Not just from the daily practice of writing but from observing the harsh conditions writers are required to endure as they battle protecting reputation vs selling fiction. I had to split priorities. I started writing to be an advocate. I was in a privileged life position, married, happy but not happy enough to stay in reality. I preferred fiction.
