What is the best #FOSS way of making/editing SVGs for simple graphics and icons? I generally use Inkscape, but it's often annoying to make sure things align perfectly in it (as in, here are two squares, I need their sides to touch exactly). It's not unmanageable, but it is somewhat annoying. And I really don't want to write them by hand: too much like my high-school approach to geometry problems (draw coordinates and punch it with algebra)
