NEW: Hackers advertised 23andMe stolen data a whole two months ago.
We found a post on another hacking forum, and we verified that some of the data published in August matches the data published last week.
In their post two months ago, the hacker claimed to have 300 terabytes of stolen 23andMe user data, and said they contacted 23andMe, “but instead of taking the matter seriously, they asked irrelevant questions.”
