this is why I stopped doing full-stack - we used to write static HTML by hand in vi, embedded in code or imported from disk
at the time (90s/00s) CSS and JavaScript had barely arrived and weren’t yet in widespread use
at least React/TS gets me all the way down to layout and UX concerns 😅 but we need a WYSIWYG editor generating code for this last mile 🙏
