the 10 rules of #bitcoin
The video this morning was made for someone who’s just getting into bitcoin AND those who have been in for a while and could use a little refresher.
They are in order of first steps to advancer users.
Here’s the rules:
There are no rules
Just kidding.
1. Only invest as much as you know
2. Get the bitcoin off the exchanges
3. Use a trusted wallet on a trusted device
4. Keep your private keys offline
5. Know exactly where your private keys are at all times, and rehearse it
6. If you are getting a device to store your bitcoin, get it direct from the manufacturer
7. Never tell anyone how much bitcoin you own
8. Two is one and one is none. Always keep a backup
9. Get your family involved in your process. Don’t let the bitcoin die with you
10. Set up a decoy wallet using a Passphrase. For maximum security 🔐
Let me know if I missed any rules 👇🏽
And if you agree with the message and found it helpful, consider sharing it on your social platforms or with friends and family.
As mentioned in the video, friends and family seem to trust info that’s on their screens over you. For some stupid reason…
Here’s the full vid with deep dives into the rules!
