What you may not know about the escaped royal horses is that, not content with training them to trample peasants, one of the Georges cross bred them with kelpies. While they are not yet obligate carnivores, Charles IV being a vegetarian and trying to get the royal horses to go back to a vegan diet prompted them to break out and go on the hunt.
