I can't see Justice Merchan granting Trump's request for a continuance of his NY criminal trial to scheduled to start exactly 2 weeks from today. To call his presidential immunity defense for crimes occuring before he took office a "Hail Mary" understates how risible they are.
About the only thing Trump hasn't tried is replacing his legal team, then his new lawyers arguing they need more time to prepare.
