Technical notes: I ended up re-shooting this to correct some heat distortion on the left of the original version (the solution was to wait until a bit longer after sunset). The result should be sharp across the entire image even at 100% zoom.
This is a composite of two shifted images (+/- 18mm left and right, and 15mm up) with the 70mm/5.6 Rodenstock (oriented vertically); this yields a roughly 5x7 aspect ratio, which works well here.
