I hate flying, but not for safety/anxiety reasons. Just because I hate the whole logistics of it.
For reducing anxiety, I would point to the statistics. Driving is more dangerous. Every plane that goes down is a tragedy but even with this latest uptick, the probability of it happening to you is tiny.
