On Bluesky I have more high-follower people following me, but they rarely interact with my posts.
Whereas on Mastodon a lot of regular people follow me. And I get a ton of interaction.
I'd suggest one problem we have with social media is that we keep designing for cliques rather than community.
(Also waving to Mastodon, which I think is much better than Bluesky. I'm only there because Bluesky is still much better that Twitter... And I'm only on Twitter because not everyone has evacuated yet.)
