So I *think* this is what I want.

A USB-C plug, with a 5.1K resistor *should* show as an OTG device.
If I can unsolder the old USB port from the device and solder this in place, it should "upgrade" it to USB-C.
Who do I know in London with a soldering iron, the skills to work on small components, and - preferably - a 3D printer to create an enclosure?
