Hmmm.... Economists at Goldman Sachs think we're reading the BoE/MPC wrong & interest rates will be down to 2.75% this time next year;
the logic is that the UK economy is slowing at an increasing rate & so the BoE will need to act more quickly.
However, of course this assumes the BoE is acting in the interests of the economy in a general sense;
I'm not convinced; rather they are acting for their chums in the City.
But we'll find out who's right.... I'm happy to be wrong!
