Brunswick on Nostr: The healthcare exchange took health insurance away from the middle class ...
The healthcare exchange took health insurance away from the middle class entrepreneur. Unless you own a stable business with more 10 people that want health insurance, it's completely unaffordable for a family. 9 years ago it was $25,000/yr for a family of 6. Completely unsustainable. Before "health care reform" I had an individual high deductable plan for only $400/mo. Most men in my position put their wifes to work just to pay for health coverage, even if it's a zero-sum after travel, an extra car, lunches and putting kids in day care. I refused to do that because I didn't want to trade my kids childhoods for health insurance. Fortunately there was health-share, but of course that turned out to be an underfunded "christian" scam. We just have to face it, the Federal government will not stop until America is a complete shithole
