1/2 Yesterday my first skitour at the canton of Ticino. We started from Ossasco and went up to the "Capanna Cristallina". Much more snow then forecasted. At least 30cm. Unfortunately for us the strong winds in the morning compressed the surface quite well. Due to the avalanche risk (3-) and to the fact neither of us knew the region we decided to ski the same way down instead of doing the more steep options in the west (30° up to 40°+). Some other groups did it, but for us it's always better safe than sorry.
