"content": "If the door is locked, pull the handle it sends a low power message to the key, the key responds, the car unlocks, pulling the handle again opens the door. Similar with push to start, signal goes from car to fob and back. So if there is a timeout it would be connected to it listening for messages from the car, so interrogating the key should elicit no response if it's been idle.\n\nSince I don't have a flipper zero or similar (yet) I'll need to actually go outside and try it when it's nicer out.",
