A work group dedicated to a particular minority where employees of that diversity group can feel "safe" discussiong social issues amongst other people in the same demographic.
eg: Black ERG, Latino ERG, Transgender ERG, etc.
So basically, it's how companies officially sanction things that 25 years ago would've had no place in the office whatsoever.
