Seriously, if think left, center, or right refer to a static position, you have not been paying attention. Our society shifts every day back and forth. Left and right are directions, center is between them. If the right are in charge, society shifts to the right, which means the current positions of both the center and left are dragged more to the right as well. It's why every time we allow the right to get back into power it's more damaging than just what they immediately do, they shift everything with them.
