#WritersCoffeeClub Mar 13 - Do the writing hashtags inspire you?
The hashtags have drawn me into a community that's given me encouragement to be a writer.
When I first joined Mastodon, I declared in my profile that I wanted to make the move from programmer to author.
It took me a long time to write my first book, but in the 14 months since I joined, I've completed three novels as a ghostwriter, my own work that is TBOTB2 is nearly there (brief to cover artist posted today 🙂) ...and my editor npub1vmn59wexfsaus5gfryl0ezkecxqa48rsw0y3kluv5u34qnluumjqnzr9uz (npub1vmn…r9uz) is someone I would never have known without being part of the community.
So I think inspiration is the wrong word, but the overwhelmingly positive effect on my writing career has been tremendous.
