I agree with you to a point, but we need to recognize that the workforce crisis in medicine is a real and present issue. I am not suggesting deploying some half baked techie derived LLM. Clinicians must be integral to this development, but the fact remains that we will get to a point in the future where AI will outperform trained human clinicians in some sectors.
