Annoyance number million was that MS Edge wouldn't open yesterday, despite a reinstallation. (I don't like Edge but I need to use it for some things, like my Wordpress blog, because Chrome won't do that properly.)
I did find one answer, to install the MS Store version instead of their website one, and that did open. No idea why.
