I had a bad childhood.
No, this isn't to gain sympathy, because I had housing, food, and free education too; so in general there's nothing to complain about, other children on our planet live under much worse conditions. But having LOVING parents is another vital part of any childhood, and that's what I was lacking all over. That's why I always try to sketch the main parent figures in my books the most loving, understanding, supporting, and caring people that ever lived on our planet.
