I'm too scared of permanence on my body, anything that may have a permanent effect is horrifying to me even if it's something as small as a scar, which is why I personally am very invested in stem cell research (on top of all the genuine medical uses and how many people it can help)
Thinking of a future where someday I can undo the damages that built up on my body, both big and small, it's nice to imagine being able to metaphorically wash that away
