Earlier this week, I found someone impersonating a well-known reporter on Substack. The reporter had moved to a new platform. Someone else swooped in, obtained the Substack URL the reporter had been using and was posting in their name.
I found the site because it was still in my RSS feed. One option is to keep the retired Substack URL in an RSS reader to monitor if any new posts published there.
