Since leaving Twitter, new subscriptions and ads have decreased significantly. We’re still operating at a loss.
Any ideas? One thing we may have to try is cross-posting to a Bluesky account. Sadly, reach matters in this case.
We tried advertising for the newsletter (e.g. on Reddit) but that didn’t have much of an effect. MDN would have been a good location for advertising but we never heard back from them.
