Luna the new cat keeps working at making friends with Rua by plunking herself down within inches of him when he's in his fleecy bed. Each time Luna does this, Rua leans over to sniff her, then goes back to sleep. And he's stopped hissing at her, at least for the time being. (Making friends with Olive the Death Kitty is another matter.)
The two cats are only inches apart despite how this photo makes it look.
